Step into 1850 with us on the second Saturday of each month, from12 pm to 2 pm, at the Historic Monteith House. Exciting activities like, woodworking, pioneer doll making, baking biscuits, making butter, and so many other family friendly activities! Each time will be something new, and you'll learn a little more about this important piece of Albany's history.

We love volunteers and have many opportunities to participate. Dress up like a pioneer and be one of our tour guides. Learn the pioneer stories and ghost stories of the house and lead special tours. Lead a Living History activity. Give a Living History demonstration. Help in the yard. Join the Monteith Historical Society Board.
